Teen speedster fined and ordered off the road for six months
He had sped away from police before crossing double white lines and speeding away from a road works site.

AN 18-YEAR-OLD seen speeding and driving dangerously on an open road has been fined $1500 and ordered off the road for six months.
Koby Ryan Hill was seen by Toogoolawah police on patrol speeding on the Brisbane Valley Highway on April 14, Toowoomba Magistrates Court heard.
Police tried to follow his red Honda but it had sped away.
The patrol a short time later was waved down by workers at a road works site who said the red Honda had sped past the pilot vehicle, cut off another vehicle while driving from the wrong side of the road across double white lines before speeding away, the court heard.
Hill pleaded guilty to dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
His solicitor Joe McConnell, of MacDonald Law, told the court his client had been driving a mate to Redcliffe Hospital at the time.
Magistrate Howard Osborne ordered the conviction not be recorded.
