A 36-year-old sergeant from Southern Region has been stood down from duty with the Queensland Police Service.
The officer is the subject of an investigation into allegations of domestic violence.
In keeping with the Queensland Police Services commitment to standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, it informs the public when officers face serious allegations of misconduct.
This does not mean the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
