Youths attack new Toowoomba servo with hammer in attempted break-in at Harlaxton Pearl Energy
Two businesses were the targets of break-ins at the weekend, including one which was attacked with a hammer.

A Toowoomba service station was the victim of an attempted break-in, with two young people attacking it with a hammer in the early hours of Saturday.
The Pearl Energy on Ruthven Street in Harlaxton, which opened earlier this year, was the site of an incident, which reportedly occurred about 4.30am.
CCTV footage has been handed to police, with the footage believed to show two young girls trying to break the glass of the front doors, before attempting to steal items through the night window to the side.
The Queensland Police Service was contacted for further information, but did not respond.
It wasn’t the only business that was the target of break-ins at the weekend, with the Pump 123 drive-through cafe on Russell Street also needing repairs following an incident on Saturday night.
Police said CCTV footage shows a youth hopping the fence next to the site and attempting to force the door open, before an approaching car caused him to run off.
