Two men in custody and firearm seized by police after alleged pursuit through Toowoomba
A firearm has been seized by police and two men were taken into custody after an alleged pursuit through Toowoomba ended when police spiked the stolen vehicle’s tyres.

A police pursuit through Toowoomba has ended with two men in custody.
Witnesses reported seeing multiple police and ambulance units following a Ford Ranger along Anzac Ave towards Westbrook about 3.30pm on Tuesday.
They reported seeing the police vehicle travelling at high speeds and crossing into oncoming traffic.
Police tracked the allegedly stolen vehicle and successfully deployed a tyre deflation device, with the vehicle continuing on before coming to a stop on Gore Highway, near Moor Rd.
It is understood police have arrested the driver and a search of the vehicle recovered a firearm.
A 29-year-old man and 34-year-old man were taken into custody at the scene without incident.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said no one was injured.
The Ford Ranger was allegedly stolen from a Flagstone address on August 13.
