A heavy haulage tow truck was called in to right a trailer that had rolled on the Toowoomba Bypass, slowing traffic and sparking a small grass fire.
Emergency services were called to the scene near the intersection of Murphy’s Creek Road and the Warrego Highway shortly after 11am on Sunday.
They arrived to find the truck driver was uninjured but the rear trailer of his B-double had rolled onto its side, crushing a barrier.
The vehicle came to rest in the emergency lane which allowed eastbound traffic to flow, albeit slowly.
No one was injured, and the grass fire was easily contained.
