Toowoomba police charged the man with two separate bundles of charges.

One bundle contained two charges of forcing entry into a property and carrying a knife.

The other bundle included deprivation of a person’s liberty by unlawfully detaining or confining them, and conspiring to assault the person.

The court was told Clarke’s newly appointed legal team was based on the Gold Coast, and they sought the charges to be listed for a guilty plea at the Southport Magistrates Court before Christmas.

Magistrate Clare Kelly agreed to relocate the charges and listed the case to be mentioned before the Southport Magistrates Court on December 15.
