Multiple Fire and Emergency Services crews were deployed to a house fire in Vanity Street at Rockville.
The call for help came shortly after 2am on Friday.
QFES reported the house was on fire inside, but the fire has since been extinguished.
It is understood neighbours helped to remove a man from the house.
He was at the rear of the dwelling receiving first aid for burns to his feet when firefighter and paramedics arrived.
He was since been transported to the Toowoomba Hospital with minor foot injuries.
Police have established a crime scene as they work to determine a cause.
The structure has sustained superficial smoke and fire damage.
