TikTok star Ian Bartholomew fined for violent dog park outburst

A man well known for making odd cooking TikTok videos was subject to a police investigation after he drunkenly abused a fellow dog owner at a Newtown park. Read what happened next.

A man who made a name for himself by producing hundreds of odd videos on TikTok has been fined after he was caught on camera drunkenly abusing a fellow dog owner at a Toowoomba dog park.

The footage showed Ian Bartholomew yelling abuse at another man, reportedly after he asked Mr Bartholomew to leave him alone.

Mr Bartholomew appears to throw a fake punch in an act of intimidation.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers were called to Tor Street park about 7pm on Tuesday after reports Mr Bartholomew was swearing at other dog owners

“He was being antagonistic calling them f--- heads and fat c----s and throwing a ball around to distract the dogs when they asked him to leave,” he said

“He was affected by liquor.”

The police spokesman said Bartholomew pushed one of the dogs owners and as a result was issued with an on-the-spot fine for public nuisance.

Mr Bartholomew has amassed almost 100,000 TikTok followers after posting video where he cooks low-effort meals in a kitchen coated in filth.

He also posts videos showing him training his dog to do tricks while also hurling vile insults at her.

Mr Bartholomew was contact for comment but did not respond to The Chronicle’s inquiries.
