Queensland Police arrest and charge man over Toowoomba service station stabbing

A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly stabbed another man at a Toowoomba service station over the weekend.

A Toowoomba man is due to face court today after he was arrested after an alleged stabbing over the weekend.

Detectives from Toowoomba arrested and charged a 26-year-old man with wounding after he handed himself in to police on Monday afternoon.

The man was refused bail and scheduled to appear at Toowoomba Magistrates Court today.

Police allege that the man and the victim, another 26-year-old man, attended a service station on Bridge Street just after 10am on Saturday.

One man is accused of stabbing the other before returning to his vehicle and driving away from the scene.

The alleged victim received a non-life-threatening wound and was transported to hospital.
