QFES crews respond to suburban structure fire at Chinchilla

Two QFES crews were called to reports of a fire at the front of a property in Chinchilla.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews have saved a home on Pilkington Street in Chinchilla after a fire ignited at the front of the property.

A QFES spokeswoman said two crews were called to the blaze shortly before 3pm.

They arrived to find the front of the building on fire and had the scene under control within 10 minutes.

“All occupants were out of the house and accounted for,” the spokeswoman said.

Police and paramedics were also called to the scene.
