Police investigating after boy bashed at St Marys College after formal party
A boy was attacked, robbed and put in hospital and an 18-year-old woman arrested with police now investigating dozens of people following an after-formal party becoming a violent brawl in the CBD.

Police have called for witnesses to come forward after a massive brawl broke out at the close of an after-formal party in the CBD following the St Mary’s College formal, which left one boy in hospital with a fractured cheekbone.
The brawl is alleged to have started about 2am outside the Mills Precinct on Saturday morning.
It is understood a boy and partner were set upon by several people.
During the altercation the boy suffered a fractured cheekbone and had his phone and vape stolen.
Police arrived and took two girls into custody, while a second woman, an 18-year-old, was arrested on Sunday.
She is charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and robbery and will appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on April 16.
Police transported the boy to the Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
The event was described as chaotic with officers attached to the Toowoomba Safe Night Precinct observing uncontrolled drinking at the party of adults and teens.
They also noted that there was very lax security.
The Toowoomba Child Protection and Investigation Unit is looking into the matter.
Officer-in-charge Brent Parker said his officers are working to identify dozens of potential offenders.
“We ask that if anyone has information about the incident, including CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward,” he said.
