Police and fire crews responded to report of three cars set alight near Toowoomba Hospital Sunday morning

Three cars were “well alight” when Queensland Fire and Rescue Services crews arrived Sunday morning. See the latest here:

Toowoomba Police investigators remain on scene of a car fire near Toowoomba Hospital on Sunday.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews were called to the report of a fire in Pechey St about 10.30am, Sunday.

She said when the fire crew arrived there were three cars reportedly “well alight”.

Crews found no-one on seen and no injuries were reported.

Fire crews soon extinguished the fires the cause of which is still under investigation and police remain on scene Sunday afternoon.
