Michael Numdi and John Moses charged with grievous bodily harm have respective cases adjourned

The two men charged with grievous bodily harm arising from an alleged pub fight have had their respective charges mentioned in court. Here’s the latest.

Two men charged with causing grievous bodily harm to another man during an alleged altercation at a pub have had their respective cases returned to Toowoomba Magistrates Court.

Michael Numdi, 49, and John Moses, 31, are each charged with grievous bodily harm arising from an alleged altercation with 26-year-old Mike Katui at the Royal Hotel in Gatton on the night of September 3, 2023.

Neither man has been required to enter any pleas to their respective charges and both remain on conditional bail.

Police prosecutor Anita Page told the court she had an update on the complainant man’s condition and he had undergone surgery last month.

During a brief mention of Mr Moses matters in court on Tuesday, January 30, Bouchier Khan Lawyers solicitor Alysha Jacobsen said she was still waiting for case material including the complainant’s police statement.

Mr Numdi’s solicitor Brad Skuse, of Skuse Graham Lawyers, asked that his client’s matters be adjourned to the same date as his co-accused.

Magistrate Mark Howden remanded both accused men on bail and adjourned their respective cases for mention back in the same court on February 13.
