Power has been cut to about 1900 homes and businesses after a two-vehicle crash on Mary St, in East Toowoomba.

Emergency services were called to the crash at the intersection with Campbell St about 12.20pm on Friday.

They arrived to find members of the public giving first aid to an injured woman.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics assessed her for minor injuries before taking her to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

One of the vehicles has impacted a power pole, dislodging power lines.
