A woman said it was fitting that her husband was found clutching a spanner after he died, because he was a perfectionist who found great joy in a job done well and was always looking for the next project.

Jevan Murray has been remembered as a devoted husband who relished putting in a good day’s work before coming home to his three children.
The 47-year-old man was laid to rest on Tuesday, after he lost his life in a freak accident on August 2.
Jevan was working on his ute at his Vale View home when it rolled and crushed him.
Kylie Murray, his wife and mother of his three children, said she lost her best friend.
“He was an amazing man, we never fought and we had the perfect marriage,” she said.
“Jevan was the best dad, he always knew the right thing to say and always told our children these beautiful little stories with messages hidden in them.
“It is a great loss.”
Friends and family have rallied around Kylie and her children Jalisa, 14, Tom, 12 and Lawson 6, setting up a GoFundMe campaign which has raised more than $9000.
Mrs Murray, who is a regular face at many of Toowoomba’s early childhood education centres with her roving music program Maggie Moos Music, said she was blown away by the outpouring of support.
“We didn’t know we were so loved by the community,” she said.
“It is really the glimmer in our darkness and we would never have expected this.
“Jev would have been so happy that everyone is supporting us.”
The couple met 17 years ago at the Toowoomba Coffee Club and formed an instant bond.
“We sat together for three hours and just talked and talked,” Mrs Murray said
“We have been together every day since then.”
“I had a happy life with Jev.”
Jevan grew up on a farm and was known as a hard worker with Mrs Murray saying she was especially thankful to his colleagues at Hastings Deering, who have wrapped around her family.
“Jev was changing a tyre when the ute came down on him and he went instantly,” she said.
“He was so safety conscious, he never took risks and we cannot understand what happened that day.
“For Jev to still be holding onto a spanner means we know he worked right up to the end.”
