The Crown alleged Mr Biber had grabbed the girl’s hair, punched her and yelled at her after he believed a rock the 15-year-old girl had thrown had struck the car he was in at Wyalla Plaza Shopping Centre on the afternoon of September 19, 2022.

The girl claimed she tripped on the rock which she had then picked up and thrown into a garden bed but the throw went beyond the garden and into the car park but she denied the rock had struck any car.

After a two-day trial, the jury of six men and six women took just over an hour to return not guilty verdicts on the charge of assault occasioning bodily harm and an alternate charge of common assault.
