A Toowoomba man charged with three counts of indecent acts in any place with intent to insult or offend any person, plus additional charges is yet to receive legal representation, a court heard.

Bronson Errol Ridgway, 30, appeared via video link from custody on January 19 when his matters, which included one count of wilful exposure, unauthorised dealing with shop good, wilful damage and indecent act in a public place, were mentioned in Toowoomba Magistrates Court.

Magistrate Clare Kelly strongly suggested Mr Ridgway secure legal representation through Legal Aid to assist with the seven charges.

Ms Kelly said she had received a letter from a mental health service, and Mr Ridgway confirmed he had been in contact with the service and was being referred to the prisoner mental health service.

Mr Ridgway was remanded in custody, with his matters to be mentioned in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court again on February 9.
