An unexpected argument between two men about an alpaca has gone viral online in what has been deemed the “most Aussie interaction ever”.
The debate broke out after one man approached another – dressed in an orange high vis shirt and sunglasses – as he was walking an alpaca on a leash along a footpath in Tasmania.
“(That’s) a big dog mate,” the man behind the camera said after spotting the other, who was less than happy with being filmed.
“I’ll shove that camera up ya a**,” the man in the high vis shirt replied as he continued to walk his alpaca on a leash.
“Stop f****** pointing it at my face.”
As tensions escalated, the man behind the camera hit back: “I beg ya pardon, ya f*** wit”.
“Oh f*** you,” the other man responded.
“Go f*** yourself,” said the man behind the camera. “What do you expect mate? You’re walking a f****** llama,” he questioned.
Unimpressed, the man stopped in his tracks and turned around to explain the animal by his side was in fact an alpaca.
“No mate, go get some f***** brains. There’s a difference between a f****** alpaca and a dumb c*** like you,” he replied. “That's an alpaca all right.”
“Yeah, you look like one,” the other quipped.
“Oh f*** off, you dumb f***,” said the man, before turning back around and continuing down the street, with his alpaca in tow.
The video was shared to X by popular Aussie comedian, Ethan Marrell aka Ozzy Man Reviews, on Friday where it gained up over 3.2 million views.
“Most Aussie interaction ever. No commentary required from me today ay,” Marrell captioned the video, before adding in the comments: “I reckon I’m on at least 50 watches since the bloke who shot it sent it to me.”
Many online shared in the humour, suggesting both men “held their own” during the unusual debate.
“Watched this 20 times. I laugh more every time,” one person wrote.
“This cracked me up, He def wasnt (sic) in the mood to make new friends,” another wrote.
“Two people FIRMLY WINNING THE SAME ARGUMENT,” a third suggested.
“They both held their own,” another insisted.
“This is exactly why I walk my Alpaca at night to avoid people,” another joked.
