Halle Shipton

One of the most exciting young talents in Darling Downs basketball, Shipton has been in immense form at youth league level.

With an average of 21.3 points per game, only Sunshine Coast’s Chelsea Juan has scored points at a higher rate than the Mountaineers star.

Shipton’s impact with the youth league side has been slightly limited due to her commitments with the senior QSL outfit.

For the open women’s side she has scored 41 points in eight games and made 11 assists and six steals.

Shipton is a scoring threat anywhere on the floor and when she heats up, there are few players who can stop her from knocking down several three-pointers.

Laura Conway

Conway is an elite defensive weapon who like Shipton, is making an impact in the youth league and open women’s sides.

She can always be counted on to make those hustle plays and is also a class above on offence.

In her five youth league games, Conway has scored 59 points, with her best performance against the Logan Thunder, where she scored 21 points.

For the senior QSL side, she has played 10 games and scored 66 points.

Taya Natalier

Natalier is a development player with the Mountaineers and has been thriving in the youth league this season.

In 10 games, she has scored 93 points and has shown she has the talent to lead a side when needed.

Against the Sunshine Coast Phoenix, she scored 20 points and was the main offensive option with the senior players out.

Kizito Oryem

Oryem is an explosive talent who is not afraid to take the game on.

He has an impressive jumpshot and is equally impressive inside the paint.

Oryem boasts unmatched athleticism and was one of the breakout players from the TBL earlier this year.

He has averaged just under nine points per game this season and was one of the standout players in his side’s clash with Logan.

Theo Hess

Another player who has the potential to take the sport by storm, Hess has been one of the main offensive weapons for the Mountaineers youth league side this season, averaging an impressive 18.9 points per game.

Braydon Ford

Ford is an electric guard who few players can stop when he gets on a roll.

Against Red City, he took the game by storm and was near unstoppable with 27 points.
