Round 10 in Toowoomba Rugby League was like “chalk and cheese” at the weekend.

In the majority of cases across the four competitions matches were either decided by the narrowest of margins or were lopsided victories.

Here’s our look at the top performers from the weekend including a few goalkickers were secured key wins for their respective teams.

Tony Clevin (Brothers A-grade), Raey Cotti-Widders (Souths A-grade), Matthew Marshall (Warwick A-grade), Clyde Aroga (Warwick A-grade), Morgan Byrne (Warwick A-grade), James Schroeder(Gatton Reserves), Ethan Dowie (Gatton Reserves), Thomas Brownhall (Dalby Reserves), Lachlan Taylor (Souths Reserves), Jake Johnston (Pittsworth Reserves), Mitchell Dabin (Highfields U19s), Steven Buhse (Gatton U19s), Aston Fortier (Valleys U19s) and Oscar Kelly (Valleys U19s) all scored doubles for their teams in round 10.

10. Tait Cameron (Souths A-grade)

The talented fullback was one of the Tigers best against Newtown Lions.

Cameron scored a double in his side’s 50-12 win.

9. Ben Sullivan (Warwick A-grade)

The five-eighth made his long awaited return in style at the weekend.

Sullivan scored a double in the Cowboys massive 70-0 win over Oakey Bears.

8. Luke Self (Gatton A-grade)

Self is having a season to remember down in the Lockyer Valley.

The seasoned fullback scored another double at the weekend in his side’s 28-12 win over Highfields Eagles.

7. Micky Hazard (Goondiwindi A-grade)

The Goondiwindi and Brothers attacks were firing on all cylinders with both sides running in five tries each in a thriller at Glenholme Park.

Hazard was ultimately the difference in the end with his late penalty kick securing a 26-24 win for his side.

The Boars halfback also kicked two conversions in the match.

6. Josh Chappell (Dalby A-grade)

The Diehards halfback slotted a cheeky field goal that broke the deadlock in his side’s 29-22 win over Wattles Warriors.

Chappell secured a 23-22 advantage in the 68th minute off the back of blistering 60m run by teammate and front rower Flynn Kaiser.

5. Jake Speed (Warwick A-grade)

Speed needed just 15 minutes to rack up a hat-trick against Oakey at the weekend.

The Cowboys winger scored tries in the 4th, 7th and 19th minutes in his side’s comprehensive 70-0 win over the Bears.

4. Cooper Wockner (Brothers Reserves)

The Brothers centre had a hand in everything against Goondiwindi Boars.

Wockner scored two tries and kicked five conversions with Brothers securing a 38-6 win.

3. Lucy Davis (Highfields Women)

Davis played a leading hand in Highfields’ win over Gatton Hawks.

The Eagles centre scored two of her side’s three tries in their 14-6 win.

2. Michael Conlan (Gatton U19s)

Conlan was cool under pressure in a 10 try thriller at Kuhls Road Oval.

With Gatton and Highfields both scoring five tries each – kicking was ultimately the difference between the sides and Conlan made his count.

The Hawks centre kicked all five of his conversion attempts and slotted the penalty goal that sealed a 32-30 win for his side.

1. Chris Woodbridge (Dalby A-grade)

The 2023 Webcke Price medallist is back at his electrifying best.

Woodbridge was the star of the show in Dalby’s 29-22 win over Wattles at the weekend.

The lightning quick fullback scored four tries and kicked four conversions in his side’s win.
