UFC star Cesar Almeida flips fight with insane knockout in Vegas

Cesar Almeida has delivered a huge knockout during UFC Vegas 101 against Abdul Razak Alhassan.

Alhassan tried to use his grappling early but was slightly aggressive and Almeida took his chance.

The Brazilian landed a massive blow, felling Alhassan with a mighty left hook.

The fight was immediately called by the referee just over four minutes into the first round.

It took some time for Alhassan to regain consciousness and he was helped to the stool by medical services.

“Cesar Almeida turns the tables,” screamed the commentators. “Unbelievable.”

Almeida seemed unconcerned about the blows heading his way as he turned the fight in an instant.

Cesar Almeida shocked commentators with a huge knockout of Abdul Razak Alhassan.

“And now here’s the finish, right hand and again, he’s on the attack, he’s not thinking about what’s coming back his way,” said ex-UFC star Michael Bisping.

“Boom! Left hook, on the jaw, sits him down, stiff as a board.

“Out like a light, knockout of the night.”

The victory takes Almeida’s record to 7-1, while Alhassan’s slips to 12-7, 1 NC, and onlookers were losing their minds on social media.

“CESAR ALMEIDA WITH INSANE COMEBACK AFTER BEING DROPPED!!” Founder of Combat Sports UK Lewis Simpson posted on X.

UFC Canada tweeted: “SENT TO THE SHADOW REALM”, while another account posted “CESAR ALMEIDA SLEEPS ALHASSAN!!! Alhassan got overconfident for the finish and Cesar countered with the left hook. What a knockout!”

Journalist Ronny Lerner posted: “What a crazy fight!! Alhassan was right on top, and then out of nowhere, BANG, Almeida produces one of the biggest KOs you will ever see! This sport can be so crazy the way it can change on a dime like that.”

Ross Edmonds tweeted: “We have a knockout of the year contender already from Cesar Almeida.”

Fellow fighter Diana Belbita wrote on X: “That’s what I call playing Russian Roulette in MMA.”
