Aussie Jack Della Maddaelena was demolished in one of the most brutal UFC title fights with his coach blowing up over one thing.

Jack Della Maddalena’s reign as the UFC welterweight champion came crashing down on Sunday at the hands of Islam Makhachev.

The Aussie was simply no match for the Russian who mauled him for the majority of the five-round championship bout.

Makhachev was an unstoppable force as he secured his first takedown of the fight only 72 seconds into the contest and ended it with a staggering 19 minutes of ground control time.

As the dominance continued through every round, Maddelena was left looking like a broken man which infuriated his coach, Ben Vickers.

When the 29-year-old Perth native made his way back to his stool following the fourth round, Vickers snapped over his dejected facial expressions.

“Take that fu***ing sad look off your face. You’ve got 5 minutes, it takes you one shot to finish a fight, alright?,” he said.

“Put some hands on this c***, you haven’t touched him yet. You’ve gotta get after this c*** man. Take some risks. Fu***ing put damage on him.”

Jack Della Maddalena was beat down.

It wasn’t just his corner that noticed his dejected look with UFC commentator Jon Anik proclaiming: “He looks listless. I’ve never seen that look on Jack Della Maddalena’s face before”

It’s not the first time Vickers has gone viral over his messages to the Aussie in between rounds.

Back in May at UFC 315, the Aussie stunned the world by dethroning Belal Muhammad to become the new welterweight king.

Ahead of the final round of the fight and on top of the scorecards, Vickers implored his fighter to not take his foot of the gas … in the most Aussie way imaginable.

“You’ve got five minutes to realise your dreams. Keep pinging the c***,” he said.

Sadly Maddelena’s first defence of his belt fell apart with the Aussie torn to shreds over his showing in New York.

UFC lightweight champ Ilia Topuria headlined a wave of UFC stars that launched stinging criticism in his direction.

“Jack needs an entire camp dedicated just to wrestling,” Topuria posted on X.

“What a disappointment of a champion. You should go to Georgia to learn something. Islam, you need something you can’t train: emotion. You’re the most boring thing in this game. Every day I’m more certain I put you to sleep.”

Fighter Jamahal Hill posted on X: “Islam broke him he’s completely demoralised”.

Former champ Henry Cejudo posted on X: “19 minutes of control time in a 25 minute fight is diabolical”.

Leading MMA journalist Damon Martin posted: “JDM just hasn’t been able to do anything”.

Ariel Helwani wrote on X: “JDM’s body language isn’t good at all, and his corner is letting him hear it”.
