There were blowouts, an end to end ripper, thrillers, three try heroes and some hot kicking in round one of the Super Rugby U16s and U19s series.
The open in four games had it all and produced some memorable games.
In the 16s there was a blowout as the Waratahs announced they had their eye firmly on a defence of their crown.
And in the 19s the Brumbies also produce some good football for a strong start to their titles defence while the Waratahs showed they will fight hard for it..

SUPER RUGBY UNDER 16S
The Waratahs U16s start to the season was one for the record books.
In an absolute mauling the Waratahs defeated the Rebels under 16 side by a whopping 104–0.
The Waratahs believe it is the biggest score in an elite match for one of their Academy teams.
Saxon Gaw nailed an incredible 12 conversions in this match where the Waratahs scored 16 tries.
Darcy Feltham was the first player in the 2024 competition to score a trifecta and he did it in fine style with two scored within a minute.
Captain Harry Whitaker went over twice as did Aston Weir and Oliver Smith/
Other scorer for the Tahs were Roman Leilua, Henri Dempsey, Samuela Sorovi, Ashton Large, Hasani Bloomfield, Samuel Polley and Ofa Latu.
The battle between the Brumbies and Force was the closest match of the round and won by the visitors at Vikings Rugby Union club in Canberra.
In this match Ben Ridgewell and Dozion Laupama both scored tries for Force in a match where they were also awarded a penalty try and Ashton Willliams made a conversion.
The unlucky ACT side has three scorers in Tyran McCudden, Tomas Jensen and Aidan Wunsch.
SUPER RUGBY UNDER 19S
The ACT Brumbies kicked off their defence of the Super Rugby U19s title with a top-notch 30 point victory over Western Force in Canberra.
The Brumbies took the match 53–23 at Viking Park with the bonus point captured..
Well force scored the first points of the game the Brumbies dominated the rest of it we have three tries in a space of 10 minutes doing the damage.
One of the stars of the game was Silas Pilot who produced an end-to-end try and then scored another after the break.
Lipina Ata went over first for the Brumbies, followed by Beau Morison, Finn Baxter, Bailey Buesnel, Aylmer, Pilot twice, Lachy Smith and Joe Dillon.
Try scorers for Western Force were Peni Naqau, Boston Fakafanua and Finn Prass.
The Waratahs have proved they have their eye on the main prize as well in 2024 after missing out last year following a series victory in 2022.
The Waratahs produced a massive 60 point victory over the Rebels at the famous Leichhardt Oval.
Brendan Palmer and Liam Grover both produced the first trifectas of the 2024 competition for the Waratahs.
Tom Klem and Charles O’Kane were also outstanding with two tries each with Jack Cesare and Lachlan Doheny also scoring.
Sid Harvey produced a memorable kicking performance with 10 conversions.
Edward Lyons went over twice for the Rebels with Journey Wana also scoring a try and Ben Playford making a conversion.
