Samson Ryan has been chosen to in Richmond’s 22 to take on St Kilda at the MCG on Friday night.
A student at Toowoomba Grammar and junior with South Toowoomba, Ryan has been rewarded for a strong season at the VFL level.
In his last outing, the 206cm ruck won 30 hitouts, had nine disposals and kicked a goal in a draw with Williamstown.
Ryan was in the frame to make his debut in the Dreamtime game against Essendon in Perth a few weeks ago.
The Toowoomba player will get the chance to play in front of spectators, with a limited capacity allowed into Melbourne grounds this weekend.
The match commences at 7.50pm and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy.
