Some of Toowoomba’s junior hockey stars will be playing leading roles for Queensland at the Australian U14 National Championships to be held in Perth later this year.
Striker Savannah Patterson has been named in the U14 Girls Cinders squad.
A natural leader who is fast and strong on the ball she hits the ball hard and knows how to find the net.
She is joined in the squad by fellow Garden City players Evie Phillips and Erin Siebhur.
Isabella Madden has been named in the QLD U14 Embers squad.
Toowoomba midfielder Tahlia Robinson has been named as a shadow player.
Teams were selected following the completion of the U14 girls state titles held in Ipswich last week.
The Embers and Cinders teams are selected equally.
