One is regarded as the fastest man on the planet and the other could well take that position one day.

NRL star Josh Addo-Carr and one of the game’s next big things in Tyrone Munro were spotted lighting it up in a humble setting on a Monday night at Heffron Park.

The duo were part of division three team Sydney All Blacks in the South East Oztag competition, dazzling spectators and leaving opposition players stunned.

The pair combined for an electrifying try with Munro’s speed on full display.

“It’s unreal. The hype it generates is amazing. There’s a lot of interest,” ground manager Justin Lo said.

“We didn’t know they were going to be playing. A whisper gets around that Foxx and Munro are playing on field eight. It’s great.

“They were pretty easygoing. A few people went to say g’day.

“The opposition turned up and were a bit stunned. You don’t expect to see NRL players for a game of tag.

“Everyone was blown away by their athletic ability.”

Lo said their presence was a great endorsement for the sport, with some other big names making their way down for a game over the years.

“It’s a good endorsement for the sport as a way to keep fit and have a bit of fun with your mates,” he said.

“We’ve seen the likes of Issac Luke, Taniela Tuiaki, Jess Sergis, Brad Fittler and Tiana Penitani play here and at Centennial Park over the years.”

Addo-Carr played for the Sydney All Blacks in the Koori Knockout. Munro was due to play but was unavailable due to the Rabbitohs competing in the NRL State Championship.

Munro scored a hat-trick of tries against the Brisbane Tigers as South Sydney claimed a comprehensive victory.
