Aussie golden girl Stephanie Rice has married pastor Mark Lassey at a stunning ceremony in Perth less than a year after meeting the father of three.

Olympian Stephanie Rice has married pastor Mark Lassey surrounded by their closest family and friends during a stunning ceremony at a Perth winery.
The Australian golden girl shared pictures of their wedding day at Sandleford Wines on social media saying it was everything the newlywed couple had dreamt it would be.
“Overflowing with love, joy, and the tangible presence of God. It felt like heaven touched earth,” she said.
“As we step into this new chapter as husband and wife, where two become one, our hearts are so full.
“Thank you to everyone who made our day so special! We are truly blessed.”
The pair were beaming as they walked down the aisle following the ceremony, Ms Rice in a white strapless gown and her husband in a white jacket and black pants.
The 36-year-old gold medallist became engaged to Mr Lassey about four months ago at the Atlantis the Royal hotel in Dubai.
Ms Rice said she had waited 35 years for the moment.
“I am a better woman because of you and I am so honoured, grateful and excited to do life by your side,” she said.
Many people congratulated the newlyweds including former Aussie rules footballer Abbey Holmes who said, “Congratulations beautiful! So happy for you.”
Fellow Olympian Caroline Burckle commented, “So beautiful, cheers to a lifetime of love and joy for you both.”
TV presenter Bhavna Balakrishnan congratulated Ms Rice saying, “Wishing you both all the happiness in life.”
Kelly May said, “Heaven truly touched earth! What an honour to have shared in such a stunning representation of you both and your love. Lets go Mr & Mrs Lassey.”
