AS the salary cap scandal crisis deepens at Parramatta Eels HQ, Paul Kent and Paul Crawley have called for the board to go so the club can get on with playing football for the fans.
“We’ve got to get the NRL to sort this out as soon as possible,” Kent said.
“These guys (the Eels board led by chairman Stephen Sharp) have shown no inclination that they’re going to step down, that they’re going to look after the welfare of whatever is left of the future of this club from the 2016 point of view.”
Crawley said: “If they’re (the board) truly in it for the best of the club then they are going to have to leave.”
