The house full sign has been declared by the NRL between NSW and Queensland at Accor Stadium next Wednesday night.
While previous Origin matches have sold-out in Sydney, the speed of ticket sales to the point of filling Accor Stadium has been rarely matched with there still being six days to go until both staunch rivals go head-to-head.
More than 83,000 fans have secured tickets for the series-defining contest in Sydney which will see the Blues start as favourites to secure the prized Origin shield with betting organisations.
Despite the conjecture over the impact of State of Origin on the NRL season draw, fans have shown once again why the annual state versus state contest continues to be one of the greatest events on the Australian sporting calendar.
Following an Origin I crowd of 52,483 at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium in game one, the NRL attracted 57,023 supporters to Optus Stadium in Perth for game two.
With a sell-out secured at Accor Stadium on Wednesday night, the 2025 Origin series will end with a combined total of more than 194,000 spectators across the three matches.
