Canterbury have added much needed size to their forward pack by securing Daniel Suluka-Fifita, who has been released by Souths.
The 192cm and 112kg front rower, who will join the Dogs immediately, has inked a two-year deal having played 35 first grade games for both the Rabbitohs and Roosters.
Suluka-Fifita is on the comeback trail from a torn ACL suffered last year.
The Dogs have been searching high and low for some serious size to their pack following the departure of Luke Thompson and Tevita Pangai-Junior.
“Daniel has been hampered by injury over the past two years but he has always put his best foot forward with the opportunities he has been given to wear the Rabbitohs jersey,” Souths football manager Mark Ellison said.
“We wish Daniel and his family the best of luck for the future.”
