Ten years after last lining up alongside each other in junior footy, Wests Tigers NRL star Terrell May delivered the pass that ensured a winning return to the NRL for his once-troubled brother Taylan.

It was the family try a decade in the making.

Ten years after last lining up alongside each other in junior footy for the Minchinbury Jets in Western Sydney, Wests Tigers NRL star Terrell May delivered the pass that ensured a winning return to the NRL for his once-troubled brother Taylan.

A year after being forced to stand down from the NRL due to domestic violence charges – that were dropped earlier this year – Taylan made a try-scoring comeback in the Tigers’ win over Gold Coast on Saturday.

And it was his older brother Terrell that set up the try, taking the pair back to their days in the
under-15s when Taylan would play up a few age groups to run out alongside his brother in a side coached by their dad.

“We know each other’s games so well,” Terrell told The Daily Telegraph.

“He just knows every time I touch the ball, I’m kind of like random, no one knows what I’m going to do.

“He actually knows what I’m doing in my head.”

Terrell and Taylan will next face Taylan’s former club, the four-time premiers Penrith Panthers, at CommBank Stadium on Saturday.
