Special report: Which NRL player agents hold the power at your club?

From Daly Cherry-Evans and Lachlan Galvin to Brandon Smith and Dominic Young, the never-before-seen list of players-agent ties lifts the lid on who manages the contracts of your favourite players and how they earn their 6.5 per cent commission.

A club-by-club analysis of every player’s agent has shone the light on:

• The close working relationship at Canterbury between their general manager of football, Phil Gould, and Sam Ayoub;

• Why Parramatta, unlike the Sydney Roosters, need to maintain their relationship with Isaac Moses, who manages Eels captain Mitchell Moses, as well as some of the club’s brightest young stars;

• How the angst between the Wests Tigers and Moses may not be over yet, with Jahream Bula’s contract the next big negotiation for the two parties;

• The massive player market influence of the Orr brothers, Chris and Gavin in 2025. The pair’s Pacific Sports Management group has already overseen some of the big signings involving Dylan Brown and Jamal Fogarty, with more to come with the likes of Melbourne’s Dally M medallist Jahrome Hughes and off-contract Brisbane Broncos star Selwyn Cobbo.

The in-depth look into every club also peels back the curtain on which teams operate best with each agent.
