NAB League Super Rankings: See this season’s top 50 performers and the best from Round 10

While prospects played in Country v Metro trial games, some different names stepped up and thrived. See the NAB League top 50 and best performers from Round 10.

REPLAY: VIC AFL U19's Rep Trials - VIC Metro vs VIC Country (Game 2)

The NAB League’s biggest stars were away, but that meant others could step up and play.

Most of this year’s top AFL prospects sat out Round 10 of the competition to compete in one of two Metro-Country trial matches at Werribee’s Chirnside Park on Sunday.

That left greater opportunity for their teammates to shine, including diminutive Calder Cannons on-baller Flynn Lakey, who helped himself to 27 disposals, 15 contested possessions and six clearances.

Lakey continued his consistent campaign in racking up 168 KFC SuperCoach ranking points – the second-most from the weekend, behind only Tasmania’s Baynen Lowe’s 181.

Lowe’s Devils enjoyed a comfortable victory over the Dandenong Stingrays, with the Devonport product exploding for a season-high 33 touches, 10 inside 50s and eight score involvements.

Daniel Didomenicantonio paced the Stingrays with 26 disposals and 137 ranking points.

However, no-one won more of the Sherrin in Round 10 than Josh Clarke, whose 38 possessions spearheaded Eastern Ranges’ 27-point win over the Western Jets.

Clarke – in just his second appearance for the season – rounded out his day with 10 groundball-gets, six score involvements and five clearances.

There weren’t any big bags of goals at the weekend, with Sandringham’s Felix Flockart and Tasmania’s Jye Menzie leading the way with three apiece.

Northern Knights and Sandringham Dragons solidified their top-four spots with contrasting triumphs over Calder Cannons and Oakleigh Chargers, respectively.

St Kilda-listed ruckman Max Heath was a good contributor for the Dragons, amassing 11 disposals, seven hit-outs to advantage, six score involvements and 113 ranking points.
