Ivor Marsden Memorial Park was the hotbed of junior cricket talent this week with the U12 Boys Southern Challenge unfolding.
In a bumper summer of cricket, the next generation of Australian cricketers were battling it out in the Queensland Junior Cricket Southern Championships, with Spencer Tsingos, Harrison Barac, Jaiveer Ballaggan and Rishav Patel among the top performers so far.
As the tournament goes on, we will provide an update on the best batting and bowling efforts being produced by the best Under-12 cricket talent in the state.

U12 BOYS SOUTHERN CHALLENGE
TOP PERFORMERS FROM DAY THREE
ROUND 3 - U12
GC U12 Vs Brisbane North U12
Zane Murill ripped through the Brisbane North’s batting line-up, getting them all out at 80 runs with a fantastic 4-wicket haul.
SEQ U12 Vs Wide Bay U12
Mohnish Haricharan continued his excellent form for SEQ U12 with another 4-fer, getting Wide Bay all out for a score of 107 in Round 3.
DDSWQ U12 vs MSW U12
MSW batter Rishav Patel continues his dream run with a swashbuckling inning of 78no off just 37 balls, cruising the team into the finals.
Bears U12 Vs Sunshine Coast U12
Lachlan Russell finished Sunshine’s lower order for his team by just leaking 10 runs and scalping a 4-fer.
FINALS
GC U12 VS SUNSHINE U12
Cooper Armstrong helped his team restrict Sunshine Coast by taking three crucial wickets with a 1.28 economy.
Bears U12 vs SEQ U12
Ethan Rivers came out all guns blazing with both ball and bat, scoring a stable 53 and picking up three wickets while defending the score.
Brisbane North u12 vs DDSWQ U12
Batters Thomas Rose and Akamjot Dhaliwal rose to the occasion and hit two half-centuries, the team posting 332 runs.
After a magnificent performance by the batters, Spencer Tsingos finished the job by taking another 4-fer in the tournament, helping Brisbane North to a comfortable victory.
MSW U12 and Wide Bay U12
Leyton McDonald, Tyson Melein and Jack Juster scored 40 runs each to take the team above the 200-run mark. Noah Sanders cleaned up the MSW side for a score of 165 with his three crucial wickets.

Gold Coast U12 Vs SEQ U12
Mohnish Haricharan had a cracking day with the ball against GC U12, taking three wickets at a brilliant economy of 2.14, ending on the figures of 7-2-15-3.
Wide Bay U12 Vs Brisbane North U12
Spencer Tsingos destroyed the Wide Bay batting line-up by a 4-fer with an economy of 0.83.
Gold Coast U12 Vs Wide Bay U12
Gold Coast Dane Cutler led his team to an amazing victory with an economical spell of 7-1-15-3, defending 150 runs.
Brisbane North U12 Vs SEQ U12
SEQ U12 batter Harrison Barac hit an aggressive half century taking his team over the line, complementing Haricharan who took another 4-fer in the tournament.

Bears U12 Vs DDSWQ U12
Bears U12 batter Lucas Howe saved the day by raining hell in the end overs with his quickfire 55no off 40 balls at a strike rate of 137.50.
MSW U12 Vs Sunshine Coast U12
Msw u12 bowler Jaiveer Ballaggan ripped through the Sunshine Coast top order with his 4-fer taking crucial wickets by just leaking 29 runs in eight overs.
MSW U12 vs. Bears U12
The 91-run innings by MSW batter Rishav Patel took his team to put a defendable score with 16 fours and a six during his innings.
Sunshine Coast U12 vs. DDSWQ U12
Avery Mead sent the wickets cartwheeling with his 5-fer against the Sunshine Coast, winning the match for his team by three runs.
