Live stream: How to watch weekly Netball Queensland Sapphire Series double headers

The best netballers in Queensland will be featured every week as part of KommunityTV’s exclusive coverage of the Sapphire Series. Find out how you can watch it LIVE.

Netball fans have reason to rejoice as the Hart Sapphire Series returns for the 2024 season with KommunityTV cameras ready to capture all the best moments from the courts each week.

KommunityTV, along with the Courier Mail and Gold Coast Bulletin, will again exclusively live stream match of the round coverage across the Sapphire Series season.

This year’s coverage is taking on a new look with the weekly double headers to include back-to-back Sapphire Series showdowns.

This means more of the best netballers in the state live streamed every week, while your favourite Sapphire Series teams will be shown more often throughout the season.

The exclusive coverage of the Sapphire Series begins with a huge opening round double header on Sunday, April 21 which includes a grand final rematch between the TAE Aerospace Jets and Brisbane Cougars.

The Jets have had several months to simmer on their thrilling one-point loss in last year’s Sapphire Series decider, and will be determined to start the new season with victory over their rivals.

Armani and Tiana Apelu are expected to return full of fire for the Jets, while long-time Ipswich favourite Kiara Condon is also expected to take up her spot in the defensive unit.

While they have kept their squad under lock-and-key in the off-season, the reigning champion Cougars are expected to roll out a new-look squad following the departures of key players Jayden Molo (Bond), Leesa Mi Mi (Super Netball) and former Firebirds player Mia Stower (Bond).

The other match in our opening round double-header pits the Brisbane South Wildcats up against Gold Coast Titans in a M1 Derby.

The KommunityTV coverage will include live coverage of every match during the Sapphire Series finals series from July 21, including the Sapphire Series grand final on August 4.
