The National Futsal Championships made its return to KommunityTV in 2025.

Football Australia’s premier indoor event, was run by Football Victoria in Melbourne, from January 8-12.

For the first time in two years, the event returned to the screens of KommunityTV, streamed live and exclusive across all of News Corp Australia’s digital mastheads.

HOW YOU CAN WATCH LIVE?

The KommunityTV live stream coverage will include all 270 matches across all seven pitches in action at Parkville across the week-long event.

The each court will have its own stream channel which will run continuously across the day’s action, with on demand replays of each game available at the end of the day’s play.

The live stream vision will be split across two digital stories - one showcasing junior pitches and the other showcasing senior pitches - with daily links available throughout the tournament.

WHO IS IN ACTION?

Football NSW will be determined to prove themselves the state to beat during the week after winning the Youth Men, Open Women and Open Men national titles in 2024.

Meanwhile the host state Victoria finished without a national title last time out, something they will be determined to rectify in January.

The National Futsal Championships bring the nations best futsal players together for a week of high-octane action, with national glory on the line.

Football Victoria chief executive Chris Pehlivanis said he was pleased to be able to support the NFC with a comprehensive streaming offering.

“We are counting down to the national tournament here in Melbourne, and are thrilled to be able to provide coverage of every match through KommunityTV,” he said.

“Victoria has a thriving futsal community and we are excited to partner with Football Australia to deliver the 2025 tournament, while sharing all the action with a wider audience across Australia.”

“This will be a fantastic week of futsal as the best players from across the country go head-to-head in Melbourne all vying to be crowned national champions,” Football Australia chief executive James Johnson said.

“The National Futsal Championships will be a great way to kick off 2025 and we look forward to seeing the futsal community converge on Victoria in January.”
