BEST BET

SPICY MARGS (Race 5 No.7 – $4.20): Spicy Margs was solid behind a talented sprinter when resuming. She’ll be better for it and should have every chance on Wednesday.

NEXT BEST

HITCHHIKERSGUIDE (Race 1 No.5 – $5): The three-year-old chased solidly at Horsham first-up and should be well suited by the rise to 1600m at Seymour.

ANILLA (Race 8 No.2 – $11): He ran on well late when beaten less than a length at Sandown last time out. Expecting another strong performance back at the provincials.

VALUE BET

FABRICE (Race 6 No.5 – $10)

The Ciaron Maher-trained galloper had no luck when badly held up at Sandown fresh. He’ll be fitter and can improve with better luck.
