BEST BET
ENNA’S DREAM (Race 7 No.4 – $2.30)
Enna’s Dream is a city class mare dropping in class for this assignment. Expecting her to break through after a deserved win after a solid first-up third.
NEXT BEST
LAPLAND (Race 2 No.3): Lapland chased a promising filly home at Moe on debut. He’ll be much better for the race experience and could go one better at Geelong.
SUSSEX DUCHESS (Race 3 No.11): The Andrew Noblet-trained filly was a beaten favourite on the synthetic last time but her effort Geelong two starts back was encouraging. She’ll be hard to hold out again.
VALUE BET
KAWA (Race 8 No.6): The Japanese-bred galloper made a strong start to his Australian racing career on the synthetic first-up. Expecting him to be just as hard to beat with that run under his belt at Geelong.
LAY OF THE DAY
Tournelle has had every chance in most Australian runs but has been unable to break through. Tipping she’ll find one better at Geelong on Friday.
THE JOCKEY
Jockey Jye McNeil heads to Geelong for six rides on Thursday. THE FLYING POPOV (Race 1 No.6 – $10), MARELLITY (Race 2 No.11 – $13), CAMP CABLE (Race 3 No.1 – $5), KASTUN STAR (Race 4 No.3 – $13), ROYAL LASS (Race 6 No.9 – $5.50), ENNA’S DREAM (Race 7 No.4 – $2.30).
