On Twitter, she wrote: “It’s crazy I can be told I look too fat, too skinny, too plastic, too old, wearing too much makeup, not enough makeup, boobs too big, butt not big enough, too pale, hair too blonde, not blonde enough all in one day.

“Guys it’s not a Build-A-Bear workshop over here. Calm it down.”

Outspoken Spiranac has just shy of 383,000 followers on Twitter but nearly three million on Instagram.

She regularly posts selfies and revealing snaps which appear to have led to some unwanted feedback.

But Spiranac was backed on Twitter with one fan saying: “Only thing I’d want to change is your last name. Tell them other guys to kick rocks.”

Another added: “I think what gets lost in all this is how nice of a person you are, as well as a super talented golfer.”

Professional golfer Max Homa chimed in: “I’m hairy enough to be called a build-a-bear if that makes u feel any better.”

To which Spiranac replied: “Slightly but sad people make fun of you for being hairy. Guys have it tough too.”

It is not the first time golf-mad Spiranac has hit back at fans after she defended herself against one follower who said she belongs on Pornhub.

Spiranac blasted Justin Thomas for his foul-mouthed exploits at the Tournament of Champions last weekend.

Thomas used a highly-offensive, homophobic slur after missing a putt before later apologising and confessing he felt “embarrassed”.

Spiranac admitted he shouldn’t be “cancelled” but use of the homophobic slur was indefensible and should “never be tolerated”.
