A Penn State and Ohio State wide receiver was seriously injured and his girlfriend was killed a horrifying ATV crash in rural Pennsylvania, authorities said.

Julian Fleming, 24, was driving the Yamaha quad with Alyssa Boyd, 23, down a rural road in Pennsylvania’s Bradford County along the New York state line when they struck a deer that darted in front of them, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Boyd — who attended the University of Alabama, according to her social media — suffered “extensive injuries” in the crash and died at the scene, according to cops.

Fleming, who also lives in Pennsylvania, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital.

Neither rider was wearing a helmet, according to state police.

Local media outlets, including PennLive identified the victim as former college football star who played for the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Social media posts show Fleming and Boyd together, and 247sports.com reports that the pair were dating.

Cops recovered the body of the deer that they believe caused the ATV crash.

Family members declined to comment on Boyd’s death when reached by the Post on Sunday.

Fleming was a standout high school star at Southern Columbia High in Catawissa, Pennsylvania, where he was ranked the top wide receiver recruit in the nation after being named the 2019 Pennsylvania player of the year by both Gatorade and PennLive.

In 2019, Fleming, a five-star recruit, committed to play college football at Ohio State. He played in 38 games for the Buckeyes, totalling 80 receptions for 990 yards and seven touchdowns.

After graduating in December 2023, Fleming transferred to Penn State, where he appeared in 16 games for the Nittany Lions but was hampered by injury in the second half of the season.

He signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 NFL Draft, but the team rescinded the contract after Fleming failed his physical three weeks before the deadly crash.
