England had kept Australia at bay for much of day four before Steve Smith’s “incredible” moment helped guide Australia to a dominant victory.

England showed some well overdue fight over the first half of the day, managing to get through the opening session without losing a wicket.
But Steve Smith’s brilliant reflex catch to remove Will Jacks broke a 96-run stand with Ben Stokes and sparked a collapse as England lost 4/17 to be bowled out for 241.

That leaves Australia needing just 65 runs to snare a commanding 2-0 series advantage after as many Tests and firm as unbackable favourites to retain the urn.
Mitchell Starc was the star of Day 3, topscoring with 77 to help Australia take a 177-run first innings lead and then taking two wickets as England collapsed in the night session.
Michael Neser’s maiden five-wicket haul, and Smith’s three catches, have been the standout moments on Sunday.
