Hollywood couldn’t have scripted Luke Self’s 2025 Toowoomba Rugby League A-grade season any better.

The flying fullback captained his side to an unbeaten premiership winning season, defending the title they won in 2024, and finished among the top five try scorers with 13.

Self also secured the competition’s highest individual honour, the Webcke Price Medal, which is presented to the best A-grade player.

Is the Gatton Hawks star your first choice at fullback though.
