The latest member of Australia’s famous boxing family will make his much anticipated professional debut tonight.

Nikita Tszyu, the son of Australian boxing legend Kostya and world title contender Tim, will take on Aaron Stahl in Brisbane in his first pro fight.

Tszyu is aiming to make the first step out of his older brother’s large shadow with a win over Townsville fighter Stahl.

The 24-year-old is competing in the same super welterweight division his brother Tim fights in.

There are six bouts on a fight card full of familiar Aussie names. The other fight to watch out for is the IBO super welterweight title eliminator between Australian Wade Ryan (20-9) and Irish two-time world title contender Dennis Hogan (29-4-1).

The fight had been due to take place on Wednesday but it changed venues and was pushed back 24 hours because of the floods in Queensland.

How to watch the fight

The full fight card will be available to watch on Fox Sports channel 505 or to stream on Kayo. A pay-per-view purchase is not required to watch this fight card.

What time is the fight on?

Coverage of the fight card starts at 7pm AEDT (6pm local time). With five other fights on the card, Tszyu and Stahl are likely to enter the ring around 10pm (AEDT).

Where is the fight?

After a last minute venue change, the fight will now be held at Brisbane’s Nissan Arena.

Tale of the tape

Tszyu is looking for his first professional win against Stahl, who has a 2-0-1 record.

Tszyu weighed in at 68.9kg, while Stahl tipped the scales at 69.62kg.

Tszyu is an unbackable $1.04 favourite to beat Stahl, who is a rank outsider at $10.
