Fans erupt over DAZN streaming issues during Usyk vs Fury fight

Boxing fans have been left fuming after DAZN’s stream for the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk fight crashed right before the bout.
Fans trying to watch the highly-anticipated rematch saw their streams cut out right as the pair were about to come to blows.

But it wasn’t just at the beginning of the fight when viewers had issues, as many complained about not having any commentary as well as constant buffering taking place, The Sun reports.
Social media was flooded with angry fans who vented their frustrations online in the direction of the host broadcaster.
One wrote: “DAZN fix the damn stream, people are paying for this s***”.
While another fumed: “DAZN get your s*** together. The stream keeps buffering”.
A third ranted: “It would be amazing if DAZN could stream a fight without buffering!”
A fourth posted: “Refund me. Your stream is awful DAZN”.
And another boxing fan said: “DAZN … shambles. Took the $30 for the fight and then your website and stream are hopeless.
“Multiple attempts, multiple locations, a number of devices used at a minimum, d850eb4756cb5081aa2af82244293289Wi-Fi and 5G … rubbish. Ripped off!!!”
Fans had been complaining of issues throughout the entire undercard and lost their patience when the issues impacted the main event.
Fans in Australia had to fork out $29.99 to be able to watch the fight on the streaming platform.
Those attempting to watch along were making their thoughts clear by demanding refunds online from DAZN.
One wrote: “I’m going to switch off. I’ll watch replay later and I’ll cancel my subscription. You’re a scam.”
A second added: “Paid to watch this fight tonight between Tyson & Usyk and I couldn't watch it as it was buffering throughout the main fight! What an absolute joke! I want a refund.”
A third wrote: “The stream was horrible, from the beginning when the stream returned the match was over :). Horrible experience. I want a Refund.”
Multiple boxing fans claimed they would never hand over any money for a DAZN pay-per-view again.
Despite the anger pouring in online not everyone was having issues with the fight as Usyk retained his belts and beat Fury once again to cement his title as the greatest heavyweight of his era.
The win came in a unanimous decision after the massive fight went the whole 12 rounds in Riyadh.
Despite all three judges scoring the contest for the Ukrainian superstar, Fury was furious and claimed he had been robbed of victory.
