The NBL Blitz has come and gone - and now it’s time for the real thing.

After another bumper off-season, week one just days away and it’s time to look at how all ten teams are placed for their shot at championship glory this year.

The off-season was chock-full of controversial coaching changes and star players landing massive overseas deals - but also brought with it the arrival of some genuine x-factor players, including the highly anticipated return of Xavier Cooks to the Sydney Kings who could once again take the league by storm.

While South East Melbourne lost superstar Mitch Creek, the most devastating blow of all undoubtedly came to the reigning premiers with superstar Jack McVeigh leaving the JackJumpers to pursue an opportunity in the NBA. The huge loss to the Tassie side has them plummeting in our rankings.
