A graphic image of a massive surgical scar on the right side of Harry Froling’s head has emerged, the legacy of an alleged one-punch attack that left the Brisbane Bullets’ big man with a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain.

Father Shane Froling, on Monday, posted the image and confirmed the 24-year-old had been discharged from hospital.

Harry is recovering from the injuries suffered as a result of an alleged one-punch attack that left him unconscious in Wollongong street in the early hours of January 22.

“Harrison Froling is out of hospital and recovering,” Shane Froling tweeted on Monday.

“As much as we would love to address media and questions, we will leave it until police evidence is presented.

“He is on the mend, thank you for the care and love sent.”

A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with affray and recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm after he turned himself in at a Wollongong police station.

Brisbane coach Greg Vanderjagt has said once the police investigations are complete, the Bullets would conduct their own inquiry into the incident.
