Olympic years always bring out the best in Australian sport and 2024 has been no different, with our sportswomen excelling on the international stage.

But it was not only the efforts of our Olympians and Paralympians in Paris that were in the spotlight.

From domestic leagues that are regarded as the world’s best to the biggest cities and sports leagues in the world, Australian women – young and older – are among the best.

We celebrate the top 50 of 2024.
