Australia has retained the Ashes.
Yes, Manchester weather played a big part.
But there were other reasons too.
From Josh Hazlewood’s five-wicket haul in the face of a Bazball onslaught to Marnus Labuschagne’s drought-breaking ton, it wasn’t all as bleak as the weather at Old Trafford for Pat Cummins’ side.
There will no doubt be questions asked ahead of the fifth Test at the Oval as Australia looks to go one better than in 2019 and win the Ashes in England.
But for now, it’s up to Daniel Cherny and Ben Horne to provide their ratings for every player from the fourth Test.
