LeBron James’ signature Nikes come with a warning

AS IF LeBron James didn’t already have it all, he has managed to find another way to get the edge over his rivals on the court. And it comes with a caution.

WITH the launch of his new signature Nike shoe reaching new heights, LeBron James quite literally has the world at his feet.

Among the most popular sneakers on the market in the US, Lebron’s Nikes are ticking the boxes with celebrities, kids, and even some of James’ NBA colleagues.

And that is where the King draws the line.

The two-time NBA champion this week told GQ that any player that comes up against him on the court wearing a pair of his shoes is likely to endure his most painful wrath.

LeBron said he instantly feels he has a mental edge over a rival wearing a pair of “Brons” — something you do not want to give one of the most physically intimidating players in the league.

“If you just a guy that’s just like, you actually just go to Foot Locker or somewhere, you just get a pair of ‘Brons and you want to wear them on a Tuesday night vs. me? I’m going to bust your ass. Straight up,” James said.

The Cleveland Cavalier, placing himself an “MJ class”, said his attitude came from watching Michael Jordan while he was growing up.

“When I was a kid and I used to see guys wear MJ’s shoes when they played against MJ I’m like, ‘Oh MJ got a little mental edge over those guys.’,” James said.

James’s message is simple: If you are playing the Cavaliers, throw your Air Jordan’s on for the game and keep those LeBron’s hidden under lock and key.
