Hussien El Achkar, who is an Essendon NGA product in the 2025 draft class, booted three majors from four touches in his first dose of reserve grade footy.
It bodes well for his draft stocks after a stunning start to his Coates Talent League campaign where he has booted 10 goals in three games for Calder Cannons.
Ruck project Vigo Visentini is closing in on a senior debut after his best performance in the ruck yet.
The 19-year-old had 58 hit outs to go with 20 disposals and five tackles, following his work and providing pressure.
Young Giant James Leake was best on ground against Richmond’s VFL side, collecting 34 touches, six clearances and a goal.
Richmond’s Maurice Rioli had 25 touches and two goals, while Judson Clarke continues his encouraging return from an ACL tear.
He had 27 touches and two goals in his best game for the season.
Casey had a massive win over Sydney, led by a five-goal performance for former first-round selection Matt Jefferson.
He booted his goals from 18 touches, leading the way ahead of Jacob van Rooyen, who had 2.2 from 15 disposals.

Hawthorn will seriously consider bringing in Seamus Mitchell and Sam Butler for their first AFL games of the season.
Mitchell had 12 marks to go with his 35 disposals, playing as an intercepting and rebounding defender, while Butler laid 11 tackles in a week the entire senior side had 38.
Cam Mackenzie responded from his omission with 21 disposals and six clearances.
